Advanced Organizational Leadership for Project Managers

Advanced Organizational Leadership for Project Managers is an experiential workshop that will have participants identify the path to becoming the organizational leaders they have always wanted to be.

Leaders will leave the workshop more aware of themselves and with the tools to guide them in their future. They will be more willing to be innovative and take risks where necessary. Attendees will clearly understand accountability as well as integrity in life and model that for others in their organization. They will know how to relate to others individually and in teams. They will understand why it is important to be committed and dependable, determined and bold! Attendees will be able to communicate more effectively and manage change and diversity within their organization without hesitation.

Advanced Organizational Leadership for Project Managers is a workshop that is designed to complement the workshop Advanced Interpersonal Leadership for Project Managers (formally titled Advanced Leadership for Project Managers).

Course Outline

1. Learn open dialogue and communication tools

2. Learn trust building within the organization and explore corporate “values”

3. Learn how to inspire and clarify vision and action within the organization

4. Learn to own your strengths and weaknesses

5. Learn how to build bridges with meetings and setting priorities

6. Learn to use conflict and fear to engage in unfiltered and passionate debate

7. Learn to model an atmosphere of Integrity, Accountability and Excellence

8. Learn to celebrate accomplishments, honor and appreciate those whom you lead

Course Instructors:

John Gaughan

John brings a vast background of experience and business knowledge gained over the last 40 years. John started his career in New York with the New York Telephone Company and in 1972 came to Houston with General Dynamics Corporation.

John started his own business in 1973 with Telecommunications Specialists Inc. and has always had interests in the telecommunications and data field. His ownership and experience spanned many businesses from a clothing store chain to a trucking company to the Houston Dynamo’s professional soccer team and more.

John left the corporate world in 2005 to form a business with his wife Rhonda. Together they created NSIGHT a partnership created to teach corporation’s better methods of communications and leadership development tools as well as future strategy and succession management concepts. John and Rhonda host many workshops together and both are certified leaders and facilitators.

John served as the Chairman for the Mankind Project and serves on other boards in the Houston community. Service and outreach is an important part of John’s life.

Rhonda W. Gaughan

Rhonda is an international workshop leader, facilitator and executive coach. She is a certified Shadow Work® coach as well as a trainer, mentor and Certified Shadow Work® facilitator. Rhonda is also a graduate of the Masters program in Psychology at the University of Santa Monica in California.

Rhonda moved to Houston from Louisiana where she was Executive Assistant to the Governor throughout his term in office. Prior to joining the Governor’s office Rhonda worked for the State of Louisiana from the Louisiana State Police to Louisiana State University. Once in Houston, Rhonda branched out into management consulting, working for such firms as King, Chapman, Broussard and Gallagher, Wright Management Company, and the Daugherty Group Consultants.

Rhonda is a certified Weekend Leader and Facilitator with Woman Within International and has participated in the training of thousands of women throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. She and John have created many workshops benefiting executives, individuals and couples.

Rhonda brings fun and enjoyment to everything she does. She has a creative mind balanced with her logical good sense. She has been an asset to many great organizations.
